Itinerary
Day 1 – Cochin Arrival
On arrival at Cochin Airport / Railway Station board your cab & transfer to the hotel at Cochin. Check into hotel/resort after freshen up proceed for a Sightseeing tour to Cochin, visit The Dutch Palace, The Jewish Synagogue built in 1568, St. Francis Church the oldest European church in India built on 1503, the world-famous sailor Vasco da gama was first buried here, Chinese fishing nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, etc. also an array of shops with antiques, fabrics & jewelry. Overnight stay at Cochin.
Day 2 – Cochin to Munnar
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Munnar, which is called as “Nature Lover’s Paradise” and is at 1800mts above the sea level. A former resort for British raj in INDIA, the hill station surrounded by tea plantation on the way to Munnar visit Cheeyapara and Valara waterfalls. Check into hotel / resort, Evening at leisure & Overnight at Munnar.
Day 3 – Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing. Then visit Eravikulam National Park, Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, Eco point, Tata tea museum, Blossom Park, etc. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Munnar.
Day 4 – Munnar to Thekkady
After breakfast check out from the hotel / resort and proceed to Thekkady. Check into hotel / resort. Sightseeing of Thekkady: Go for Plantation Tour, Evening boat ride to National Park (cost extra). You can also indulge in Kathakali, Kalaripayattu, Mohiniyattam, Elephant ride / Bullock cart ride (Cost extra), if time permits you can take jeep safari through the forest with extra cost. Overnight at Thekkady.
Day 5 – Thekkady to Alleppey
After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey which has an immense natural beauty, also known as the “Venice of the East”. It is famous for the backwaters, boat races, houseboat holidays, beaches, marine products and coir products. Either you can check into your Houseboat for night stay / Motorboat cruise for 2 to 3 hours (Cost extra) and enjoy the cruise through the legendary backwaters of Alleppey Vembanad Lake. Visit Alleppey beach, Ravi kiran Museum, Coir Factory etc Overnight stays at the houseboat / Resort / Hotel.
Day 6 – Cochin Departure
After breakfast proceed to Cochin if time permits visit Hill Palace Museum, an archaeological museum and palace, It is the largest archeological museum in the state and was the imperial administrative office and official residence of the Cochin Maharaja (The king once who ruled cochin), also visit the famous Lulu Mall for some shopping then to Cochin airport/railway station and depart.
