The Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra is a carefully planned spiritual journey that takes you to an altitude of 6,191 meters in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh district. This unique experience combines a scenic road trip with a short trek to Parvati Sarovar, offering breathtaking views of Adi Kailash, one of the holiest placesdedicated to Lord Shiva.
Each stop on this yatra is rich in mythological importance. Adi Kailash, also known as 'Chota Kailash' due toits similarity to Kailash Mansarovar, is a key site in the Panch Kailash (Five Kailash). It is believed to be theplace where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati first met, making it an important spiritual destination.
Om Parvat, another highlight, is famous for a natural rock formation resembling the "Om" symbol. According to legend, Ravana, the king of Lanka and a devoted follower of Lord Shiva, visited this mountain to seekdivine blessings. This yatra offers a spiritual journey through the majestic Himalayas, where deep religious significance and stunning natural beauty come together.
Itinerary
Day 1: Delhi to Pithoragarh
The journey begins early at 6:00 AM with a pickup from Delhi. The group drives towards Pithoragarh, covering a distance of 476 kilometers over approximately 10 to 11 hours.
Lunch is arranged en route. Upon arrival in Pithoragarh, guests check into the hotel and relax for the evening. Dinner is served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay.
Day 2: Pithoragarh
After breakfast at the hotel, the group completes the necessary Inner Line Permit paperwork required for the upcoming journey. The remainder of the day is free for leisure, allowing participants to explore the picturesque Pithoragarh Valley and acclimatize to the altitude. The scenic views and calm ambiance offer a peaceful retreat. Dinner and overnight stay are at the hotel.
Day 3: Pithoragarh to Nabhi / Gunji
Post breakfast, the journey continues from Pithoragarh to Nabhi, covering a distance of 161 kilometers in about 5 to 6 hours. The route travels through beautiful hilly terrain. Upon arrival, guests check into a homestay at Nabhi. The evening is free for relaxation or personal exploration. Dinner and overnight stay are arranged at the homestay.
Day 4: Nabhi / Gunji to Jollingkong - Adi Kailash Darshan
This day includes a scenic drive covering 38 kilometers to Jollingkong for Adi Kailash Darshan, at an altitude of 5,945 meters. Along the way, top attractions include Vyas Valley, Parvati Sarovar, Pandava Parvat, Parvati Mukut, Dhaan Ki Kheti, and Gauri Kund.
The group undertakes a 1.5 km trek from Jollingkong to Parvati Sarovar, followed by a 2 km trek to Gaurikund. After performing pooja and experiencing the darshan of Adi Kailash, the group returns to Jollingkong for lunch.
The return drive to Nabhi/Gunji includes sights like Brahma Parvat, Pandava Fort, Kunti Parvat, and Draupadi Pallu. Dinner and overnight stay are at the homestay.
Day 5: Nabhi / Gunji to Nabhidhang - Om Parvat
The group departs in the morning to visit Om Parvat, located 34 kilometers away at an altitude of 4,246 meters. This sacred site features the naturally formed 'Om' symbol on the mountain. En route, attractions include Parvati Mata Navel Peak, Kali Mandir at Kala Pani, Shesh Nag Parvat, and Ved Vyas Gufa. After completing the darshan and visits, the group returns to Gunji/Nabhi for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Nabhidhang - Om Parvat to Pithoragarh
After breakfast, the group departs from Gunji/Nabhi and travels back to Pithoragarh, covering 148 kilometers over 4 to 5 hours. On the way, a scenic lunch break is taken at Pangla Village. The group arrives in Pithoragarh by evening, enjoys dinner, and rests overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Pithoragarh to Delhi
On the final day, after breakfast at the hotel, the group begins the return journey to Delhi, covering the same 476-kilometer route over 10 to 11 hours. Along the way, travelers enjoy spectacular views of hills, valleys, and mountains. The tour concludes with drop-off upon arrival in Delhi.

Terms and Conditions for This Trip
The package includes the Yatra Inner Line Permit, experienced guide, transportation by SUV/Bolero Camper/Tempo Traveller, pure vegetarian meals as per the itinerary, and shared accommodations at hotels, homestays, or tents. Exclusions are medical or evacuation expenses, travel insurance, personal expenses such as phone calls, laundry, tips, additional sightseeing, and extra accommodation or food charges beyond the itinerary days, which will be charged at ₹3,500 per day.
Your booking will be confirmed once we receive the advance payment and subject to availability of accommodations and itinerary. Full payment must be completed before the journey starts. Cancellation charges will apply according to our cancellation policy, and no refunds will be given for services not used during the trip.
Please disclose any existing medical conditions before the journey and carry your essential medicines. The organizers are not responsible for any health issues that arise during the trip. Travelers must carry valid government-issued ID and Inner Line Permits arranged by us for the journey.
